Contrast of three different materials of canopy

The canopy refers to the "exterior wall extension" above the entrance doors, windows, terracesof a home, etc.It mainly plays a role of shading, wind and rain. Now with the demand of urbanization, preventing falling objects from height has also become one of the important functions of the canopy.Therefore, because of the various needs and usage scenarios, Many versions of the canopy have evolved.

Nowadays,there are three types of canopies most commonly used in home improvement,  PC solid sheet awning, glass awning, and cloth awning.

a. The endurance board canopy is also called PC board or polycarbonate board canopy. Compared with the glass canopy, it will never self-explode, and it can be made wider and longer without column support. It is beautiful, elegant, sturdy and durable, easy to install, and anti-aging, but cheap and light ".

It may produce louder noise during the rainy season (but closing the windows can solve the problem)

b. The glass canopy uses laminated glass as the main material, which has the advantages of good load-bearing performance and high safety.The disadvantage is: high cost, easy to reflect light and affect the neighborhood.

c. The advantages of the cloth canopy are diverse shapes and strong flexibility.The disadvantage is that there is basically no way to stop hazardous falling objects from a high altitude, the load-bearing capacity is very low (need to be put away in strong wind, heavy rain, and snow;), easy to wear and not stain resistant.
