What are the characteristics of polycarbonate

Polycarbonate sheet characteristics:
1.light transmittance : The light transmittance of the polycarbonate panel can reach up to 89%, which is comparable to glass. UV-coated panels will not produce yellowing, atomization, and poor light transmission under sunlight. The loss of light transmittance after ten years is only 6%; the loss rate of PVC is as high as 15%-20%, and the glass fiber is 12%-20%.

2.Weather resistance : The surface of the polycarbonate panel is equipped with an anti-ultraviolet co-extruded layer, which can prevent the resin from falling and turning yellow caused by the sun's ultraviolet rays. The surface UV co-extruded layer has the function of chemical bonds to absorb ultraviolet light and convert it into visible light. It has a good stabilizing effect on the photosynthesis of plants. Can provide 10-20 years of quality assurance.

3.Flame resistance: According to the national GB8624-1997 test, polycarbonate panel for building materials belongs to flame retardant B1 level. The combustion temperature is 580℃, there is no droplet when burning, non-toxic, self-extinguishing away from the fire, and first-class flame resistance.
4.Sound insulation: The hollow structure of polycarbonate panel and the good sound insulation characteristics of polycarbonate can effectively reduce noise.
High impact resistance: The impact capacity of polycarbonate panel is 200-250 times that of the same glass, 30 times that of acrylic of the same thickness, and 2-20 times that of tempered glass.
5.temperature resistance: polycarbonate panel will not cause deformation and quality changes within the range of 40℃-120℃.
6.Polycarbonate panel bending line: polycarbonate panel can be bent naturally, and it can also be formed by hot bending.
