Can polycarbonate sheet be bent? Of course, the answer is yes. The material of the PC sheet is polycarbonate, which has very good toughness, so it can be cold-formed to a large extent. But please note that the specific bending radius is based on the size and thickness of the plate. If the sheet size is small or the thickness is thick, it is recommended to use the hot bending forming process if you want to achieve the ideal bending. Below we mainly talk about the cold bending of the PC sheet.
At present, there are many manufacturers and businesses that roll up the plates when packaging or shipping them, and customers will worry about whether the plates will be damaged at this time. Here to tell you that, when cold bending is performed in accordance with the minimum bending radius requirements for sheet products with thin thickness and excellent quality, although it will not cause obvious damage to the sheet, it is still not recommended that manufacturers or merchants do large-scale cold bending. We will introduce it in detail.

For the cold-formed shape of PC endurance board, its small bending radius must meet the following conditions:
1. Outdoor use: The bending radius is not less than 180 times the thickness of the plate.
2. Indoor use: The bending radius is not less than 150 times the thickness of the plate.
3. Use a soft cloth or sponge dipped in neutral soap or detergent to scrub the dust and dirt on the surface of the PC endurance board, then rinse it thoroughly with water, and then dry it with a soft cloth.
4. If there is grease, wet paint, glue marks, etc. on the board surface, it is recommended to wipe it with a soft cloth dipped in absolute alcohol.
5. Generally, the edge of the plate extends into the fixed frame more than 25 mm, and there are at least two ribs in the fixed area during installation; thermal expansion and contraction generally leave a gap of 3 mm per meter.
6. The UV-resistant side of the surface of the board should be installed facing outwards. It is never allowed to install the UV-resistant side facing inwards.
